BRING A FRIEND TO DANCE

Bring a Friend Dance Week is all about sharing the love of dance

Dance has a special way of bringing people together. A dancer can talk about class, explain the steps, or describe how much fun recital season feels, but nothing compares to letting a friend experience it in person.

This week is designed to feel welcoming. The goal is not pressure. The goal is to open the studio doors and let friends see the joy that dancers experience each week.

A visiting friend might discover:

  • What a dance class feels like from the inside

  • How dancers warm up and learn combinations

  • How teachers guide students through new skills

  • How much teamwork happens in the studio

  • How fun it feels to move to music with friends

For current dancers, the week is just as exciting. They get to be proud of their class, introduce someone new to their teacher, and share a part of their world that matters to them.

How dancers can invite a friend

A personal invitation always feels special. Dancers can think about friends from school, the neighborhood, family circles, sports teams, or other activities. The best person to invite is someone who might enjoy music, movement, creativity, or simply trying something new.

The invitation does not need to be complicated. A dancer can say:

“I’m doing Bring a Friend Dance Week from October 12 to 17, 2026. Do you want to come try my dance class with me?”

That is enough.

Families can also help by sharing the date with another parent or guardian. A quick message can explain that the friend is invited to join class during Bring a Friend Dance Week and see what dance is all about.

Let’s fill the studio with friends, fun, and dance

Bring a Friend Dance Week is more than a special event on the calendar. It is a celebration of what makes dance class so meaningful. It gives dancers a chance to share their joy, friends a chance to try something new, and the studio a chance to grow with fresh energy.

From October 12 to 17, 2026, dancers can invite friends into the studio and show them what dance is all about. They can share the music, the movement, the laughter, the learning, and the excitement of being part of a class.

Some friends may come just for fun. Some may discover a new favorite activity. Some may register and become part of the dance family. When that happens, the inviting dancer earns a $20 costume credit, which makes the week even more rewarding.

A simple invitation can turn into a new dance friendship.

Start thinking about who to invite now. One friend can bring a new spark to class. A few friends can fill the studio with excitement. Together, dancers can make Bring a Friend Dance Week a joyful celebration of movement, friendship, and the love of dance.
